Mother’s Day came early this year for dozens of women who came to The Garden- Restoring Life Ministries first ever Women’s Pamper Day held in a North Oshawa Community at 1252 Pentland.

The free initiative treated 24 ladies to a complimentary makeover. Professional hairdressers from Valentino’s Academy and make-up artist Faryal Anwari from Glam and Glow were on hand to transform the women. A photographer captured the before-and-after images. Entertainment was provided by Shingai and John.

The aim of the event was to empower women and remind them they have value and are worthy- inside and out. This is one of many goodwill events The Garden RLM are engaged in to reach the Oshawa community.

Pastor Afolabi Bankole said his church “The Garden”, continues to work and improve the lives of underprivileged members of the community.
